Medical Education Unit (MEU), VMCH was established in 2022 in compliance with the terms of reference established by the NMC is responsible for enabling and facilitating the faculty in the delivery of the curriculum. MEU provides faculty education and support, helps develop teaching and assessment methods and trains faculty for each.
The members of MEU, VMCH have completed rRBW/ BCME and 50% of MEU members have completed Advance Course in Medical Education (ACME) as per NMC guidelines.

Our MEU had conducted NMC approved Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) workshop at Vels Medical College and Hospital for 25 faculty members of VMCH under the observer ship of our nodal centre, SRMC & RC from 23rd August to 25th August, 2023.
Our Institution received CME Accreditation certificate from TamilNadu Medical Council (TNMC) for conducting CMEs. For all the CMEs conducted in 2023, at VMCH, we received credit hours certificate from TNMC.
